There are four useful facilities for hire within the church estate. These are suitable for a wide range of activities and are excellently located, 3 minutes walk from Lion’s Yard in the centre of Cambridge.
They are ‘The Unitarian Hall’, ‘The Common Room’, ‘The Church’ itself and a lightly equipped kitchen.

The Unitarian Hall
Capacity: Seated (60/70).
Prior Uses: Wedding Receptions, Yoga, Play Groups, Parties, Lectures, Drama Workshops, Theatrical Performances, Concerts, Homework Club, and Political Meetings (Gandhi spoke in the Hall in 1931).
Equipment: 8 trestle tables seating eight people, 80 solid plastic chairs, Bechstein upright piano, induction loop. Wi-fi available on request.
The Common Room
Capacity: Seated (20)
Prior Uses: AA, discussion groups, political meetings
Equipment: Armchairs, Square tables, Chairs. Wi-fi available on request.
Capacity: Seated (120)
Prior Uses: Services, Meditation, Lectures, Recitals, Music Rehearsal
Equipment: 120 chairs, Steinway upright piano, Organ, light voice amplification (including induction loop)
Capacity: The kitchen is set up for service of tea, coffee, drinks and snacks for up to 100 people. It is lightly equipped, but there is a catering dishwasher, crockery etc and a domestic cooker. For more complex events there is room to install oven units in the kitchen but any plating or extra refrigeration would take place in the Common Room.
Prior Uses: Wedding receptions, Christmas dinners, tea, coffee and snacks for up to 100
- All areas have disabled access. A fully accessible toilet with baby-changing facilities is available.
- Parking is not available.
- Wifi is currently only available in the Common Room and Hall.
