COVID restrictions
The church committee met on Wednesday and we agreed that wearing a face mask is no longer compulsory. Likewise, the restriction on numbers allowed in the church has been brought to an end
For those interested in reading my blog and/or listening to the associated podcast please follow the links found below my signature at the end of this newsletter.
Just a reminder that the church has an internal SLACK site where members of the congregation can share conversation and information. If you are a member and/or regular attended of the church and would like to join that then please be in touch with me directly.
The next Wednesday Evening Zoom conversation will be on Wednesday 1st June between 7.30pm and 9pm. To find more details and the Zoom link for that click on the following link:

Cambridge Food Bank
I’m sure you are all aware of the desperate plight of many people living on very low incomes, and why (unfortunately) food banks exist. A couple of weeks ago, we mentioned that we have a food bank collecting box at the church every Sunday. You can find the current list of what is needed at https://cambridgecity.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/ so please do check it before deciding what to bring.
Church lunches
It’s a while since we had a communal lunch at the church. So we’ve decided to re-start with a ‘bring-you-own-picnic’ lunch at the church after the service on Sunday 3 July. More details nearer the time.
Summer tea parties
The committee also talked about the summer tea parties, which have been running for several years now. For those of you who are new, these events take place at the homes of members and friends of the church. So we’ll be looking for people to host tea parties in July, August and September. Saturday afternoons 3-5pm is the usual time. If you might be interested in hosting one of these events, please contact Brendan on secretary@cambridgeunitarian.org .
I look forward to seeing some of you this Sunday.
As always,
Andrew
