Weekly General Meeting at the Unitarian Church.
Every Wednesday we have a weekly General Meeting at the Unitarian Hall. Open to newcomers for an introduction to XR, but also a space for established XR members to come and discuss current issues. There will updates from working groups and opportunities to split into subgroups. Affinity and working groups welcome to come and use the space too, and short trainings/workshops may be offered. A chance to catch up and chat, and meet new rebels.
Tea, coffee and vegan snacks offered in the break.
The Unitarian Hall is wheelchair accessible, and there is a disabled toilet plus baby changing facilities.
Cambridge Larp Society
Cambridge Larp Society (CLS) is a University of Cambridge society which organises regular Live Action Role-Playing (larp) events. Larp is a type of role-play where participants physically portray their characters. There are many different kinds of larp, taking place in wide variety of settings, ranging from fantasy and sci-fi to modern day. To find out more about larp, visit our FAQ.
CLS runs a continuing game over the course of the year, meeting once or twice a week for socialising and adventuring together in a world unlike our own. We also run a number of other events, including one-shot larps, discussion groups, costume-making sessions, and socials. Participation is open to everyone, not just members of the university, and we welcome new members at any point in the year.
